Rose Wallace Ceramics
'Flatback Figure Groups' This body of work looks to ceramic history's rich past. Recalling the Staffordshire flatbacks from the Eighteenth Century – a popular object destined to sit on the mantelpiece shelf as a representation of idyllic rural life and a necessary antidote to reality.
