born in St.John's Wood London where he lived for the first three years of his
life before moving with his family to Coombe End in South Oxfordshire.
Despite being surrounded by musicians, owing to his family’s
involvement with WOMAD, it was not until he accidentally wrote a song
that his own talent was discovered. The subsequent years have been spent
writing and performing in various guises. In 1992 he teamed up with
Sacha Churchill (son of Ten Year’s After Chick Churchill) and
formed the band Lucid.
Justin continued to develop his career, writing and performing solo.
His work has led him to collaborate with a number of musicians and
producers including Simon Emmerson (AfroCelt SoundSystem, Imagine
Village), John Fortis ( Ellie Goulding , Razor Light), Future Sounds Of
London and Sam Brown, whose tour he supported in 2000. He also enjoyed
a brief stint with London’s electro acid punk rockers, groop.

acoustic style to create a unique and disturbingly catchy sound.
