Diana Pattenden is inspired by the cow. Whilst setting up her first studio space, a cowshed, set in the rural surrounds of Berkshire she observed the eternal serenity and variety of form of the surrounding herd.
“I’m working on a pedigree bull at the moment and can see I shall be hooked on cattle for a while to come. They are such beautiful creatures and offer such a range of sculptural possibilities”
